Spaghetti dinner help needed!
May 13, 2012
You are needed to help with our SPAGHETTI DINNER FUNDRAISER! This event is being held on THURSDAY, MAY 31ST at the fairgrounds.

Every year PTLL needs to raise money to help pay for equipment, field maintenance, uniforms, and scholarships (no family is ever turned away). The concessions stand usually brings in around $2,500, the spaghetti dinner usually brings in $2,000, and the third fundraiser usually brings in $2,000 keeping us in good shape. Unfortunately, we are not getting consistent help to keep the concession stand open for every game, so the spaghetti dinner is even more important!

You may be called upon to help, or you can contact Debbie LaFollette by email at dthetford@hotmail.com!

Thanks for supporting PTLL!
Field work day this Sunday
April 13, 2012
Here is a message from Michael Rosser, our field maintenance manager:
The weather this weekend is supposed to be nice and I am planning to be at the fields working on Sunday 10 AM till whenever.

There are some areas that need attention and anyone willing to come help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

There is a bunch of hemlock behind the sheds that really needs to be sprayed or cut down to help keep it under control and to eventually try to get rid of it. Plus if the water has dried up, the front area as you come into the fields needs to be mowed as well as other things.

I can't get it all done myself so if you can help that would be great, if not I will get done what I can.

Thank You!

If you have any questions about field maintainence, email Michael Rosser at mrosser@ptll.org.

Our Mission

Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Port Townsend Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League T-Ball, Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens as well as proficient athletes.

The Port Townsend Little League Community is composed of all those who participate in and support the Little League Mission in Port Townsend. It consists of the players, managers, coaches, league officials and volunteers, parents, grandparents, siblings and cousins, friends and last but certainly not least, the sponsors and advertisers without whose financial support the league could not function.

Volunteers needed!

Port Townsend Little League, like all Little League organizations, is run completely by volunteers.

Volunteers are essential to a successful program and we greatly need your help. Please contact the PTLL Board, which organizes league schedules and takes care of league business to find out how you can help.

For a listing of volunteer leadership positions, please click here. If you have any questions please contact Michael Evans, PTLL President.

Port Townsend Little League is successful because we have people that truly want to be involved with their children's experience in the league and other people who completely love the game. We'll see you at the next meeting or out on the fields!
